Oakwell Academy is seeking a Christ-centered teacher to join our classical, University-Model® school. We partner with families to cultivate students in wisdom, virtue, and academic excellence through both on-campus instruction and guided at-home learning.
Responsibilities:
Teach assigned subjects using engaging, structured lessons; provide clear plans for at-home (satellite) days; assess student learning and provide timely feedback; cultivate a Christ-centered classroom culture; and communicate proactively with parents. On-campus days are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday (PreK is Monday and Wednesday).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required (teaching experience preferred), strong communication and organizational skills, active Christian faith, and alignment with classical Christian education.
The following part-time positions are available:
- Music Elective (one day per week)
- PE Elective (3 days a week, part time)
- Paraprofessional for Pre-K or Kindergarten classroom
- Self-Contained classroom teacher
